Ingredients

– 1 pound fresh green beans – 2 cups turkey or chicken stock, or water – 1 cup dry white wine – 3 cloves garlic, minced – 1/2 cup french fried onions – 2 tablespoons salted butter – 1/2 teaspoon salt – 1/2 teaspoon pepper

1. In a lidded frying pan combine beans, stock, and wine. Cover and simmer 8 - 12 minutes, until green beans are tender crisp.

Instructions

2. Remove lid and increase the flame to cook off the remaining cooking liquid.

3. Reduce flame and move beans to the outer edge of the pan. Melt butter in the center, add minced garlic and cook 1 minute.

4. Add fried onions, then toss everything to combine.
