1.  Melt 6 ounces of chocolate using a double boiler or microwave. Spoon melted chocolate into each of the 6 cavities in your silicone chocolate bomb mold, ensuring complete coverage on the sides with the back of a spoon.

2. Chill briefly to set. If needed, reheat chocolate and add another spoonful to each chilled mold. Return to the fridge or freezer to set again.

3. Gently remove set chocolate half rounds from molds. Fill each of the three bottom halves with 2 tablespoons of hot cocoa mix, 12 mini marshmallows, and a tablespoon of crushed candy canes.

4. STOVETOP: Warm a plate over boiling water for melting chocolate. MICROWAVE: Heat a microwave-safe plate briefly for the same purpose. Working with one bomb at a time, press the top half round against the heated plate to slightly melt the rim. Seal it over the filled bottom half round and repeat with the remaining two chocolate bombs.

5. For neater seams, warm a spoon (in hot water or under a hot faucet) and run it along the seam to melt chocolate and seal the edge. Optionally, melt white chocolate chips (using the same method as step 1), drizzle over the filled chocolate bombs, and finish with crushed candy canes. Return to the refrigerator or freezer to set.

1. Warm milk on the stovetop or in the microwave, avoiding burning or scalding. Place a hot chocolate bomb in your favorite cup, pour hot milk over it. The bomb will burst open, releasing hot cocoa, marshmallows, and peppermint. Stir until smooth and enjoy.
