Christmas Cookies and cream hot chocolate bombs are loaded with hot cocoa mix, marshmallows and crunchy bits of mini chocolate sandwich cookies. They will soon become your favorite way to enjoy hot cocoa and they also make great gifts!

INGREDIENTS

To Make Christmas Cookies and Cream Hot Chocolate Bombs – white* baking chocolate  – hot cocoa mix – mini marshmallows  – mini chocolate sandwich cookies (like Oreos) Optional Garnish – white* baking chocolate  – mini chocolate sandwich cookies (like Oreos – crushed) To Make Into Hot Chocolate – Cookies and Cream hot chocolate bomb – hot milk

Christmas  Cookies & Cream Hot  Chocolate Bombs

1. Melt 6 ounces of white baking chocolate in a double boiler or microwave. Spoon melted chocolate into each of the 6 cavities in your silicone chocolate bomb mold, ensuring complete coverage on the sides with the back of a spoon.

2. Chill briefly to set. If needed, reheat chocolate and add another spoonful to each chilled mold. Return to the fridge or freezer to set again.

3. Gently remove set chocolate half rounds from molds. Fill each of the three bottom halves with 2 tablespoons of hot cocoa mix, 12 mini marshmallows, and 2 mini chocolate sandwich cookies.

4. Stovetop: Warm a plate over boiling water for melting chocolate. Microwave: Heat a microwave-safe plate briefly for the same purpose. Work with one bomb at a time, pressing the top half round against the heated plate to slightly melt the rim, then seal it over the filled bottom half round. Repeat for the remaining two chocolate bombs.

5. For neat seams, warm a spoon under hot water and run it along the seam to melt the chocolate and seal the edge. Optionally, crush extra chocolate sandwich cookies. Heat 1.5 ounces of white chocolate and drizzle it over the filled chocolate bombs. Roll in the crushed cookies and return to the refrigerator or freezer to set.

1. Warm milk on the stovetop or in the microwave, being cautious not to burn it. Place a hot chocolate bomb in your favorite cup or mug, pour hot milk over it, and stir as the bomb bursts open, releasing hot cocoa, marshmallows, cookies, and cream. Enjoy the smooth drink!
