Brown Sugar Baked Sweet Potato Slices

A lightened-up take on classic candied yams. With only six ingredients, it's simple enough for busy weeknights, and a reader favorite for the Thanksgiving table.

COOKING METHOD

1. Preheat the oven to 375 degrees. 2. Slice the sweet potatoes. 3. Measure the brown sugar, cinnamon, ginger, and salt. 4. Melt the butter.

PREP THE INGREDIENTS

1. Line up the sweet potatoes on a baking tray. 2. Brush the tops with butter, then sprinkle with half the seasoning. 3. Flip the potatoes over, then butter and season the other side.

ASSEMBLE

Roast the sweet potatoes for 10 minutes on each side.

ROAST THE SWEET POTATOES

Turn the oven to broil and finish the sweet potatoes by broiling on each side for about 3 minutes.
